Senator Emmanuel WT Diffa, Chairman of the company

Senator Emmanuel WT Diffa (JP), is a Statesman, a successful businessman, a practising Christian and is committed to supporting philanthropic causes. With a background in mechanical engineering, he established a partnership business in Port-Harcourt, Dateco Limited, which has been operating in the oil servicing industry for over 30 years. He is currently Chairman of a wide range of companies. His political desires to serve the Nation bore results in 1999, when he ran and was duly elected as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the Bayelsa West Senatorial District. During his four year-term in the Senate (1999-2003), he was one of 14 appointed Principal Officers, who served the Senate as Senate Deputy Whip. He continues to be politically active, utilising his wide range of experience and network of contacts to provide consultancy services and to solve problems for people.

Due to his passion for the development of the Niger Delta region and the revitalisation of the languages therein, he provided substantial sponsorship to publish the Izon Fie book and Audio Book CD. He is happily married with 5 children and grand children.

Mrs Oyintarela Ebiere Umeri (nee Diffa), Managing Director

Mrs Oyintarela Ebiere Umeri (nee Diffa) is an indigene of Bayelsa State. Her mother tongue language is Izon. She was inspired to found the company, based on the mentoring of Professor Kay Williamson (now deceased). Professor Kay was a linguist and a lecturer at the University of Port-Harcourt, Nigeria, until her death in 2006. Her famous saying was use your language or lose your language. Mrs Umeri is a project manager with over 8 years experience of researching, developing and managing small and large scale projects in a wide range of organisations in the United Kingdom.

Mr Clement Umeri, Non-Executive Director

Mr Clement Umeri is an indigene of Delta State. His mother tongue language is Ika. He is also keen for the Ika and other Niger Delta languages to be more easily accessible by non-speakers. Mr Umeri is an IT systems engineer, with over 10 years experience working in small and large corporations in the United Kingdom.
